Harvesting

We discovered centaury fields flourishing high in the mountains above the Mediterranean Sea. These fields are secluded from pollution, roads, and urban areas – true organic farming at its finest. During the harvesting season, we delicately cut the flowers without harming the roots. This method guarantees that the same roots will produce flowers the next year while minimizing any negative impact on the environment.

02

Waiting (Maceration)

We blend the flowers with organic olive oil at a 1:3 ratio. The mixture is then stored in our facility, situated at an elevation of approximately 2,600 feet. This location experiences a unique climate, with temperatures ranging from 104 degrees Fahrenheit during the day to 41 degrees at night. This natural cycle of heating, drying, cooling, and freezing occurs without the use of carbon-generating machines. The entire process spans exactly 90 days and nights, hence the term "waiting."

03

Retrieval

We ensure that the mixture has turned completely red from the maceration process. The color of the oil is indicative of its quality, so if it's not right, we allow the oil to spend more time in the mountains. This red centaury oil becomes one of the key ingredients we use in our lab to begin crafting our eczema cream and serum.
